TDY=Temporary Duty. PME=Professional Military Education. It can mean some other things, but going by the context that's what it is. They were going through some sort of training course.

Thank you. It’s like military people intentionally use as many acronyms as possible just to confuse us civilians

Mild example compared to drunk driving but i remember just moving here and getting an apt. One night people were yelling in the passage way and not ...moving on. So i got out of bed and said something and this girl says to me "dont mind us...we're drunk" as if...that absolved them from any other actions.

Once you make the unimpaired decision to drink that much you are responsible for everything resultant from that.

Sometimes they need help realizing their limits.

Help comes in many forms including violence.
