The place was originally just going to be called John Silvers, so they must have known what they were doing, when they decided to add Long into the name brand

I think it's because that vinegar soaks into that nasty batter. The poors seem to love that shite.

I got food poisoning from a LSJ in Austin. Pretty sure is was the coleslaw (bad mayo). I will never set foot in a LSJ again.

Somebody asked how do these stay open in Louisiana. I ask how do most fast food of any kind stay open in LA, except maybe Popeyes or Five Guys?

Because they sell fresh, never frozen fish from the North Atlantic, flown in daily to all locations.

Samesies with Captain D's! Food is fried crappy tasting greasy old shite and people still eat there. My FIL cannot smell odors at all and I believe cannot taste much because of it. He eats there all the time when out near lunchtime. Yikes!!!

If you have EVER eaten and enjoyed a fish stick, you can eat at Long John Silvers.

You can put Lubys tartar sauce on damned near anything and enjoy it. IDK how LJS's tartar sauce is?
