Glad you brought this up. I've seen the game threads and noticed they go for many, many pages. But I've always wondered...how can one really pay attention to the game if they are constantly pecking away at the keyboard/keypad? I, for one, want to actually watch the game with as few distractions as possible. But that's just me, I suppose.

With football it's insanely easy with play stoppages taking up the vast majority of the 3-4 hours. Each play is only a few seconds. Like 11 minutes if actual gameplay.
Baseball is even easier with the dead time between pitches.

Yep. Only need to average 21 posts a day in that timespan.
SFP had a job once where he was basically supposed to be a warm body. He had nothing else to do so he posted in a lot of threads.
