Rouses needs to put a tap room in their stores like WD does. You can get a beer and walk around and shop.

Apparently by the clientele I observed in the last two I (unfortunately) visited, they do not have a problem with the name. Maybe "Winn" is slang for "anti".

The one on Tchoupitoulas in Nola was built in 1986 and the interior of the store has never been meaningfully updated. It's like stepping back in time whenever I go there. It refuses to go the way of A&P and Sav-a-center, to the big freezer section in the sky.

I go to both (literally the only 2 groceries I go to).
Rouses has better stuff, but Winn Dixie is closer and has self-checkout.
