What if 101.9 skims TD, and will never play this song again. Onoz.
If you don’t listen to local radio regularly, you’re missing out. Radio > TV

Because it’s an awesome song. The only person that would be offended by this is the little **** with an earring

Because the lyric is supposed to be insulting someone who would be saying those words, not glorifying them.

Have you called crescent city cleaning for your commercial and residential cleaning needs? You haven’t?! Why not? They’ll leave your place and workspace cleaner and shinier than a brand new vase!

It's like you frickers are trying to break the downvote record now.

I've wondered this about "Walk On the Wild Side" also.

I don’t know, but the lyrics should be secondary to the outrage that it’s not once been off the radio since it was a hit in the mid 80’s Hell, I don’t think AC/DC has been off the damn BR radio since the mid 70’s.
There’s just so much you can listen to music before what you once loved and was a part of your coming of age becomes played into the fricking ground to such an absurd level that you actually end up throwing up every time it comes on the damn radio.
frick man... we listened to entire albums. Pick another fricking song. Please.

The most offensive lyric really is the racist "Banging on the bongos like a chimpanzee"
Can't believe that isn't edited.

Funny you should mention that. I was thinking about that songs lyrics a few days ago.
That album was cut during the 80's (early hard sounding digital recording) when perhaps our society wasn't wimpy as today.

My 13 year old that plays guitar and is real into Dire Straits (admitted subtle brag), asked me about the lyric last weekend while we were listening to his playlist working in the yard. I told him, the way it's used in the song isn't really derogatory, it uses the term to show the ignorance of someone who would use the term as derogatory.
