We had a 5 month old and my wife got up every morning and picked everything up. Thankfully we typically knew a day in advance of viewings.

Good luck selling it.

OP, if you want to sell it, you have to have it show ready pretty much at all times. We just sold a house and bought some big plastic storage bins. We'd bring them inside at night and before leaving in the morning, we would throw any clutter that we used the night/morning and then load it in the car when we left for the day so that it would be show ready.

This is why selling a house is stressful.

Make changes.
Temporary sacrifice of normal.

Get a storage facility. Or two.

Only keep back necessities.

Ship kids to grandparents June 1.

Basically just turn your life into a round the clock cleaning session til you sign the papers.

In the process myself. We started ahead of time purging, painting, and fixing things broken/dirty. Devote 2 hours a day and you can get it done. Our house was likely bigger. It took us 3 weeks.

We sold in 2 hours in a market where the average time on the market is 100 days. (Horrible home selling economy)

Good luck

Plastic storage boxes with lids. Let each kid have one and pick out what they want to put in it. If they slide under a bed, even better, or store them in a vehicle. If possible, you don't want to delay a showing.

We moved out Monday so the contractors can get our house ready to sell. Spending $50k to get up to $150k more in sales price. Right now I’m living in the smallest house I’ve ever been in for five months but it’s worth it.

Since you don't have to move put it up for sale and straighten it up a little. If someone wants it they will buy it regardless of clutter. If they don't like the clutter increase the price.

No. Redoing the second kitchen and two bathrooms plus a lot of other work. We’re also putting in a lot of flooring (hardwood).
