How do you keep calm when you see someone damaging the ecosystem?

Absolutely beside myself as I watched some bonehead pour paint into a small lake just outside the city limits. As much as I wanted to confront this jerk and induce bodily harm to him, i took the road less traveled and wrote an entry in my new Valentino Garavani journal, mainly centering around the protracted migration of the Aythya valisineria (also known as the “Canvasback”) in a feeble attempt to cool my bubbling emotional maladies. I feel I should have been more pugilistic in this instance. If I let anyone down, I apologize.
