Fear of missing out
Or are you content to stay home

I don't.
This is why God created credit cards. Never have to worry about missing out.

Yeah, fomo isn't really an actual thing that people should worry about. Do what you want and stop worrying about what other people are doing or about shite you can't control. And if you want to do something, get off your fat arse and go do it.

You need to learn to step back from social media. That is a huge part of it. You see everyone posting the best things they do. No one posts a picture of them just lounging on the couch.
You have to learn to be content to stay at home, life isn't a 24/7 party. It's something with a young toddler I've had to learn and reteach myself this week even.
Do more than just watch TV and play online. Do something to challenge your brain. Do you like logic puzzles or regular puzzles? Card games are great! Or just any hobby you do have.

These Irish people visited the carousel bar and got hand grenades on bourbon. I couldn't go

Easy. I learned a long time ago to only give a shite about things that impact me and my family's wellbeing. What others do with their time has literally no effect on my quality of life.
My Pops always told me, "Worry about the things you can control and piss on all the rest."
Those words never fail me.

I went all weekend in the woods backpacking solo. Came out back into cell range...not a single text or call missed. It feels amazing.

And it will help greatly to stop paying attention to what some trendy bullshite arsehole on Twitter or facebook says you should be worried about.
Certain people these days love to tell/show others why their lives are shite and how to make it "better". The reality is, it is YOUR life. You have to live it. Figure out what you want of it and tell the others to frick off.

More importantly, how do you deal with mofo's?

I think after 2008 financial crash we leaned lots of people are living a lie and are total bullshite.
I am a pretty simple guy and have simple interest and hobbies. Can’t say I yearn for much
I just focus on me and my own life

So I made a resolution that I'd read a book a month this year (I'm one page through the first one still because I hate reading), but do that. Read more if that is what you like and lay off the social media when you feel like you're missing out.

Ain't nothing out there that I ain't already seen. All I want is some peace and quiet.
