Butane cigarette lighter, but wet your nose first. Stinks for a while but generally quick and painless if properly done.

Pull them out violently.

I pull them out. It makes me sneeze and my eyes water. Feels damn good.

Use index finger and thumb in a pinching position. Reach in there, pinch, then pull. Repeat until you can't feel any more strays

Same here. If the light hits me just right I always seem to find a random hair poking out somewhere.
