How do you control nose hair?

0I usually trim mine a couple times a week with small scissors. I bought a nose hair trimmer but it doesn’t work that well.
Watching people on TV, there is no sign whatsoever of nose hair. Do they wax it? Seems a little extreme, but also looks pretty nasty when black hairs are poking out of someone’s nose.
