OT ballers just use a brand new cutter for every cigar.

I had this issue a few weeks ago and was told Xikar will sharpen or replace your cutter if necessary.

How much are you smoking that you are wearing out a cigar cutter?

They're like $5. Why the hell would you sharpen one?

I've had this one for probably six or seven years at least.

Did you not learn anything from Rush Limbaugh's untimely lung cancer death? Cigars will kill you.

I own a sharpening business. If all the dick heads are through giving you all their OT frickboy answers let me know and I can point you in the right direction. I'm no cigar enthusiasts so I just need a couple of details about the blade and edge that can get you a quick answer.

I have the same combo from xikar mine is the single flame. They have a lifetime warranty you can send it in and they will either sharpen or send you a new one.

The days of Xikar repairing your item and returning it are long gone. It's cheaper for them to send you an entirely new one. They have that fantastic warranty because they have to.

It appears Xikar has changed their warranty program. I looked on their website and this is what I found...

quote:

XIKAR limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects, but does not cover wear and tear from normal use.

In my case it would appear that it wouldn't be covered under warranty as it would be considered normal wear and tear.

Update:
I sent my cutter back to Xikar and they replaced it with a new one, however the one they sent me didn't have any paint or finish on it at all. It kind of disappoints me because my other one looked nicer. Should I make an issue about this with xikar or just be glad they sent me a brand new cutter? This seems pretty shitty of them in my opinion. They could've just replaced my blades and I would've been happy. Images below for reference. Edit I can't get the damn pictures to work.
