I’m going to be doing a little tailgating for some baseball games for some trial runs for football season. Never setup my own spot before. Have always just kinda walked around and visited friends all day for football.

I know there are other options besides a generator, but are they worth it? I have a generac at home, so I do not have a generator.

If we wanted to have some sort of power supply to run let’s say: a small tv, a radio/amplifier speaker, and probably a way to charge a phone that may be used for the music on the speaker. What options are available?

Power inverter with a car battery?
Portable power bank?

How long can the inverter run connected to the battery? Is this just a spare battery aside from one that’s currently in a vehicle? Inverter cannot be recharged, correct?

These are stand alone and can be recharged?

Sounds like a Jackery portable power station or a stand alone inverter would work. There are other competitors in the market besides Jackery (Goal Zero, EcoFlow, etc..)

I have a speaker cooler for floating with a 68ah deep cycle battery/inverter that will play music at max volume and charge phones all weekend before needing a charge.

I have a jump starter/air compressor/110 inverter thing in the pic below. It has what looks like a motorcycle sized battery. It will run my TV for about 4 hours when fully charged.

For what you are looking to do, I have been hearing very good things about these portable power stations. Should be able to power a TV, fire stick, phone charger etc.

Ford F-150 with Powerboost with 7.2kW generator. It'll also run most of your house.

Im more concerned with the streaming aspect. Say you bring a firestick, hot spotting it tailgating at Tiger stadium will surely make the video buffer right?

I bought the 2200w Ryobi inverter/generator from Home Depot for around $500 right before the storm.

It would power a small window unit, gigantic tv and/or a fridge (I would run the AC and fridge for four hours each) on one gallon of gas for about 8 hours and it's pretty quiet, too.

I'm buying another this year.

If you're planning to run TV and streaming device, it'll probably run most of the season on a gallon of gas.
