I'm not Cajun or a snowflake. But, being from South Louisiana I don't care for this. Lumps all Cajuns together as one big group of illiterate, stupid, knuckle dragging inbreds. Substitute any other "Special Interest" group for Cajun and find out how quickly the PC police shut his act down. Poor jokes in bad taste. Just my $0.02......

I didn't find it offensive. I'm from BR and am not Cajun. But, I do hate that the whole elsewhere believes we are all like the Swamp People. Like in their collective mind, regular people don't exist here. Just annoys me.

I didn't find it offensive. have you ever heard him talk about his travels? He's negative about everywhere. He literally has a joke about never travelling anywhere, because how you imagine it is how it is. Dan Francisco....just a bunch of offended liberals, Texas executes retarded people, Midwest....who needs it, Northeast.. .shady people doing shady shite. That's his shtick. You can't laugh at it when it's directed at you, then you shouldn't laugh all the other times.

And I have a pretty strong Cajun bloodline. But I'm totally aware of annoying, dumbass swamp people type....literally grew up around people on the show...so I get the joke and think its funny. Very mildly funny. I admit it's not memorable or a knee slapper to anyone outside of people with ties to LA.

I honestly have only ever heard him on Joe Rogan. I find most comedians to not be that funny in their stand up specials. It's a whole show of trying too hard. I like to listen to them in the wild when they're just off the cuff funny. But, yeah, I can't understand those heavy accents either. Just the South is so inbred and ignorant and backwoods shtick as a whole is just tired.

I think he went too far. If he would have stopped before he started saying Cajun people don’t deserve rights, he would have been okay. Let’s just imagine if he had said that about black people. I’m not Cajun, but as a Louisianian, I found it extremely offensive.

Ok, so you're offended. What now?

Who gives a frick that you are offended? Go be offended all you want, but please don't start acting like that affords you any rights or privileges.

You have serious issues. I was stating my opinion, as I always do. Who the hell said I was asking for special privileges??? I stated my opinion. But, I can tell you that I will never pay to see this Segura guy or watch any of his tv specials. That’s how I deal with celebrities I don’t like.

I didn’t understand what pushed him over the edge with the absolute hatred of the people and state. Was there more to the bit?

But that was a pretty deliberate frick you to LA. He obviously has a legit problem with us. So frick him.

It wasn’t super funny, but it wasn’t any worse than comedians talking about folks from New Jersey, LA, Cleveland, etc.

Somewhat ironic since his ancestors’ brother in law’s are at least partially responsible for New Iberia.
