A lot of woodworkers too. Some of them have Patreon Supporters as well.

That is where a lot get "steady" money from. AvE (that does the tool tear downs) makes over 10K a month from Patreon.

BTW are you a woodworker? If so are you on SMC?

How about you post a fricking picture

First, because this thread is about making money using social media - it is not a NSFW babe thread. Second, at the moment I don't want to subject myself to browsing her photos... some register on the scale between "incendiary" and "thermonuclear". Third, for several other reasons this is just not the time or place to share.

So does anyone have any insight as to whether social media can pay enough to make it worth the effort?

The magic number is 1m views

I've done a lot of research and with 1 million views you clear about 1500-$2k after everything is said and done if the video is monatized

You were having this conversation with him and didn’t think to ask this simple question?

Casey has multiple people who work with him on his projects. He has guys that just to the music for his vids. Liza Koshy is team up with David Dobrik and his crew. You cannot put out that much content by yourself. You have to have help. I ain't knocking it, I'm just saying you can't be a one man show. I watch Pillip Difranco and that dude has big crew for a 1 camera shot and just a lot of talking.

There are YouTubers who have huge production crews, Defranco is one of them. The 4 you picked don't though as far as their regular videos, again of course Jake Paul's music videos are a huge production but the vlogs are mostly him and maybe an editor. Lisa Koshy makes once a week old school YouTube skits you don't need help for that. They are former viners. Casey has people that work for him in business but the video production is all him. Ditto for Pewdiepie
