No chance. Luckily here in Tejas, Gov. Abbott has allowed some of the best car wash attendants on the planet to make our lives more efficient. Pull in, get out. Walk in and pay. Sit for around 25-30 minutes and watch sports. Browse the greeting cards and car fresheners as well as grab a cold drink. Hard to beat.

Anyone have any idea what their profit margins are?
I know after the first couple of years it was open, the Benny’s on Perkins was making $1m a year just from the car wash portion of that one B-Quick location

It cost almost 3-4x’s much to build a fast food restaurant.
Something like Bennys is $4m to build

the local guy told me the cheap $6 wash still makes money because it only uses like 75 cents of soap water and electricity per car
if you get the high end $20 wash it still only costs him about $2 or less average
they wouldnt be in business if it didnt make good money

I paid like $15 to drive through Benny's last Friday and it took like 3 minutes. I suspect their profit margin was pretty decent on that.
Does Benny’s run a fast pass plan?
There’s one in Houma and Thibodaux that charges as low as 17 a month for unlimited washes for the cheap plan (wash is 7 dollars if purchased singularly, so 3 washes a month pays for itself). The premium package is 50 a month and the wash you get is the 15 or 20 dollar wash.

I was actually wondering this the other day. It seems like a lot of them are in the hood, too. I could show you a couple of really fancy hood car washes where I live.

Have you ever seen breaking bad? If not, you’ll find your answer.

Where I live you have to wash it in the street and once a week.
So yeah, I said frick that after a couple of years.

Hope all is well. Hitting a bit of insomnia lately after several months of blissful slumber. Hunker and lock your doors.

They can wash it faster than I can, and my free time is worth way more to me than what a car wash cost.
