Yeah back in the day it was easy to get as people would get books but only go to their games. If a team goes 2 and out you can get a book easy. This was 15-20 years ago at the old place though.

Don’t care for the new stadium, no personality and dimensions/ prevailing wind makes for fewer long balls

They keep a lot of these tickets on hold for MSU fans since we’re there every year.

My only college baseball game was the Morris HR. I was driving for a company out of Onaha and got shut down in Omaha day of.

Dispatch said tickets were always easy because the locals bought them up for resale and like others have said eliminated teams' fans.

Imagine it is easier in the big stadium.

Nightmare scenario: LSU, MSU, Arkansas, Carolina, Ole Miss, Texas, Nebraska, Ok State all make it the same year. You might be in a tough spot in this scenario.

This. I was there one year and I was talking with a scalper. Florida was playing in the evening game on the opening Saturday. The place was packed but tickets were cheap on the street. He told me if LSU or Texas was in the game prices would easily be 2-3 times higher.

Overall you shouldn’t have any issues unless there is a big matchup on a Saturday. I’m actually excited they changed the schedule this year, but it might make the championship game tickets harder to come by.

I've been to the College World Series in 2010, 2014, and 2015

The new stadium sucks and the CWS sucks. Such a garbage sporting event, it's not fun and no wonder the supply of tickets greatly outstrips the demand. They need to go back to the old bats.

You couldn't pay me to go to the college world series these days.

I could not disagree more. We went last year and had the time of our lives. Loved Omaha and TD Ameritrade Park.

We got lucky and were given tickets by a player, but I also didn’t it have trouble buying them online for a friend for game 3 of the championship. We were drinking in Rocco’s and buying tickets on our phones as soon as they went on sale. Easy.

I went the last time LSU was there - trust me, book that shite in advance.

You don’t want to go alllll the way there, then sit in the outfield bleachers (sun in your face), do you?

Or tucked up in between 3rd base and left field - way up in that area - not a good view.

And if you are willing to spend $200 per ticket, yea you can buy them outside the stadium possibly, but it’s a hassle.

General admission is the outfield seats but every Nebraska local wants to see the Tigers play as well, that’s their team too. And that line is longgg.

Trust me, it ain’t worth it. Drive/fly over there with a worry-free mind. And that park ain’t no small fry neither, if you’re trying to find scalpers “around the park,” good luck.

There are still books of general admission tickets available. First weekend, have to stand in line to try get in before the outfield fills up. There are still a lot of reserved tickets for sale at the game. If you go that route, be sure you buy them in the stadium area (ask locals) as it is illegal to sell the tickets for more than face value. Ticket Express in Omaha usually has tickets. Not sure how much they charge, but it’s where I sell my extra books.
