Toll Pass

Posted by baileydude on 8/8/22 at 11:50 am
Planning on making a trip to the D.C. area. Will be staying in VA and attending a military reunion in MD. Would like to tour around D.C. and visit some museums. My question is how can I get a temporary toll pass to make my travels there easier?

TIA

There are still books of general admission tickets available. First weekend, have to stand in line to try get in before the outfield fills up. There are still a lot of reserved tickets for sale at the game. If you go that route, be sure you buy them in the stadium area (ask locals) as it is illegal to sell the tickets for more than face value. Ticket Express in Omaha usually has tickets. Not sure how much they charge, but it’s where I sell my extra books.

Talk with someone at either the VFW or American Legion if you are eligible to join either organization. If not, reach out to the DAV. They are very helpful as well.
Most important thing I can tell you to do is to ensure you use a humidifier with it.
Any idea of time for first pitch?
I bought high quality stereo components system when I was stationed overseas in the service. They are mostly top of line Pioneer from the late 70’s early 80’s. Also, a Technics Sl 1200 MK 2. Had to replace my amps mid 80’s due to a roommate doing something. Anyway, lost my JBL L150s & L100s in the flood in ‘16. Need to find nice hi quality reasonably priced bookshelf speakers and a sub woofer. Have not been impressed with the new Klipsch or JBL.

TIA

Legal question about title 9

I rarely post, but was curious. I think women athletes should sue the NCAA. Do you think women athletes will sue the NCAA over loss of women’s scholarships? Will they sue for additional non-transgender females to offset the loss. Will they sue the NCAA for discrimination, or both? Or is there other options for them?
I had both of mine replaced at the same time. I believe the more it was hurting before the surgery, the less it’ll hurt post surgery. Most of the people going through rehab at the same time I was, were slower recovering than me, but they mostly were a decade older than I was. I was up and walking with a walker the next day and pedaling a stationary bike, but they kept me at a rehab hospital for around a month. Once I was released I could climb the stairs, but was recommended not to do so. By the time I finished out patient rehab, I could climb the stairs easily. Prior to the surgery, I could barely walk with a cane or crutches. Best thing I every did for my quality of life.
