I got drunk on Thanksgiving night. Little did I know my 6yo daughter and wife had been waiting to strike. We picked this little guy up the next day.

First one sent deposit and paid pilot friend to pick him up and fly him home.
Second one, Sent deposit and then paid pilot friend to fly us to pick him up with a pocket full of cash.
Most recent one, sent deposit, drove 2 hours to breeder house and picked him up.
Found first one online, second one same breeder as first, most recent found breeder online via AKC and FB.

Discussed what we wanted in a dog. Researched breeds and narrowed it down to a few that seemed to fit the bill. Contacted breeders through the breed club for each, asked questions, narrowed it down to one breed.
Spoke with more breeders and their references. Looked at pedigrees, health records, etc. Chose a planned litter that met our criteria, put a deposit. Breeder selected puppy that was the best fit for us.
Brought her home 3 yrs ago and she's been (almost) exactly what we asked for. A little too weary of strangers but it's forgivable for all of her good qualities. My first performance/sport dog and she has already titled in 8 different sports in addition to being a great buddy.

It’s actually my pups 6th bday today. I found her on Craigslist after their other dog didn’t get along with her. Got her around 10 weeks old. She has been the absolute best pup I could asked for

Buying one, one of my daughters knows the breeder.
Got my Chihuahua 15 years ago the same way. Hope this one works out as well, picking him up in 2 weeks.

Was buying my house and wanted a boxer puppy so I looked on the internet and found an ad on the quikquarter website (yeah 2009). I called and set up a meeting and picked one out, did a contract, paid the deposit, and waited until she could come with me. Over 13 years later Molly is laying right next to me and the best money I have spent. I love that goofy little turd.
