I used to read TideSports and TideFans (the fricking worst, Church of Christ levels of moderation) and sometimes they would say that y'all were a bunch of uncouth coonasses. I looked once and never looked back.

I don't remember how I found it. I had some info on the size of Kieland Williams' calves and was looking for a place to share it.

I had just learned how to photoshop post-Katrina. Lootie, the famous Heineken looter during Katrina, became a national viral meme, and made me LMAO, so I went looking for photoshop websites to find other viral meme-able subjects/pics, and maybe even participate in the photoshopping.
I found the Fark Board which just so happened to be on an LSU message board. It was the perfect combination of interests for me. I was technically a good photoshopper, but it was primarily NC Tigah who indirectly taught me how to raise my game/cleverness & make them funny.

I was on the Widespread Panic board back in the day and someone talked about how degenerate the PT board was. Given the degeneracy on panicfreaks, I had to check it out. Didn't live up to the hype but I stayed because I agreed with most of the posts.
