I've had no side effects, if anything, everything got better, no sexual or energy level side effects here, been on it for 5 years. Also, if you get on it, get your doc to prescribe finesteride 5mg, and just quarter it daily, will save you hundreds a year.

The 1 mg pills have been generic now for a few years. Less than $15 per 90 pills at the correct 1 mg dosage, so no need to get the Proscar and split it.

What do the proscar do for your hair? What kind of balding were you experiencing? Was it just a general thinning out or was it balding in certain spots?
