Some people are in between, like myself.. i’m In my 40s and have a full head of hair, but definitely thinning on top and in front.. what i do is buzz it all off, and i’ve been told it looks pretty good.. people ask me why i shave my head since i have a full head of hair, but what they dont realize is that when it starts growing out, you can easily see the thinning patches, but when i buzz it off you cant tell.

I think Rogaine actually works if your hair is thinning on the crown. Doesn't do shite if you have a receding hairline. Been buzz cutting since mid 40's. No fricks given anymore.

I started going bald when I was 19. Had bald man denial until I was 22 and decided to buzz my remaining hair. Started shaving it to the skin at 28 or so. I look better now than I did when I was 19. My advice to men going bald is JUST BE BALD!!! It really is as big of a deal as you make it.

Not true. I have a full head of hair and I've been shaving my head daily for years. I like the look and feel and I've been told by many people that it suits me. My wife loves it, which is always a plus.
I know several guys who aren't losing hair that either buzz their hair short or shave it. Being bald doesn't carry the stigma it used to.
