You own more YKK products than any other company (zippers). How did that company become our fastener and commercial overlord?

Once you take a few college level courses on business and economics that detail production, marketing and demand you won't have to post dumb arse shite like this

No one else finds it odd that we all own more YKK than anything else? No one has been able to really compete with them after all these years?

They are like the bacteria in our stomachs: unseeen but numerous and vitally important.

No it's not hard to find it odd that an item in demand was largely monopolized by one company given its unchanging nature and natural lack of competition due to its unchanging function and purpose over time making it an extremely stable economy not driven by economic shifts in a market

So after all these years with billions and billions of zippers sold, not a single company looked at that market and said 'We want a piece of that' and made any kind of real inroad?

You are telling me it is common for a single company to sell billions of items and never have a real competitor? Where else had this happemed?

It's pretty simple economic principles sorry you don't understand them and cannot apply them to large scales?

Name another company that has more if its products owned by the average person.

Maybe Duracell if you buy the valupack? Dunno.
