I have a gravely zt42 zero turn that I bought 3 years ago for $2700 and I literally beat the shite out of it. It hasn't given me a bit of trouble. What specific mower did you buy?

I have the basic model John Deer from Lowes (D100 I think) and it's still kicking after 4 years no problem. I change the oil and filters every year.

I have actually had similar experience with lawnmowers. that shite is all stamped and bent into shape in 3rd world countries. if you hit an anthill in the yard, something bends and the whole shite gets out of kilter.

You do not know what you are talking about.. I have had my Toro for 9 years..It starts on the first pull to this day. My neighbor is on his first Toro after 3 POS. He wouldn't listen.
