He told them that now is the perfect opportunity to implement the policies these people are putting forward. They now have as much power over their citizens as ever and have been doing out mandates and lockdowns like candy. It's the opportunity they may never get again in their lifetimes. I'm not saying this is some attempt at NWO or some One Party World Government. But they are trying to influence and reshape the global economy. They are pushing their vision of socialism. Because, you know, it's never worked anywhere ever, but it's because it wasn't done correctly. Or so I've been told numerous times by advocates of socialism.
But yeah, conspiracy theory.

Crony Capitalism isn't a real thing. it's a term used by people who don't want to admit that it's actually a symptom of late-stage free-market capitalism.
When the invisible hand (lol) guides the market, it guides toward consolidation (cream will rise). the successful will start to benefit from economies of scale, and this stacks the deck, and leads to further, compounded consolidation. and from consolidation comes immense power wielded buy a few select. these few select invariably will use their power/money to influence politicians (and anyone else). that's what money and power do: they give you influence.
thus, again, this is an inevitable end-game of capitalism, not some weird outlier. we've created a situation where a handful of very smart and very amoral people have all the money, and call all the shots. It's like the industrial revolution, but worse, because these guys also know everything about everyone.

The literal textbook definition
Crony cap is very real. It's a hybrid system, sort of like national socialism where huge corporations are propped up and protected by government. The political and business classes are entwined.
Without protections, as true capitalism would not have, large corporations would never make it to the mega stage.
"End stage capitalism" is a fabrication by soy boys praying for communism to save them from having to be self sufficient.
