the bottom, gardere, sherwood, north BR?

Most of it is in 70802 (just north of LSU) , 70805 (areas off of I-110 - plank, scenic etc) and Gardere. There are pockets elsewhere but this would solve the majority

Absolutely. I'm just thinking of the neighborhoods where 75% of the murders occur. Blvd de Province would also still be an issue as would N Sherwood. It'll never happen though. I think that white flight will continue to pick up.

Gangland did a special on NOLA. They basically said the Crips/Bloods tried, but their messengers ended up dead in the canal.

Latin Kings had a strong presence on the West Bank in the 90's.

Idk if it has been mentioned here, but the Magnolia boys are some savage MF'ers. My dad live in there and the fischer projects before they were torn down and I have heard stories from him that were just absolutely savage.

Hattiesburg is def gang infested. GD's, Vice Lords, Simon City Royals are all there and throughout the Pinebelt and really all over Mississippi. The GD's and Vice Lords originated in Chicago decades ago and a lot of poor families migrated from there to the Delta. Not recently but decades ago. This is how Mississippi became infiltrated. Then it just spread over time from there all throughout the state

All of this. SCR has been around for as long as I can remeber in Mississippi. I had a cousin who got really big into the shite and wound up having to pay people and get his arse beat a couple of times before they let him out and to stop fricking with him.

The Red Jewish Mafia ( Russian Mob ) ran the Italian mob out of the North Eastern US. Took over their cash cows and diversified

RICO crippled the Italian American mob, amongst a few other things. It wasnt the Russian mob lol.

Their cash cows(unions, garment district, piers/docks) were not taken over by another organized crime group. These cash cows were forced to go legit primarily with law enforcement cracking down. I've read a lot of books and literature about organized crime and I have never heard of them being pushed out by a rival group like the Russians. It never happened

The other comment about the Russians and some other group being twice as smart or whatever is laughable also. At its height, the mafia would be #1 On the fortune 500 list if we ranked them against legit companies. I wouldn't consider any of these groups 'smart', but let me know when the Russians put a man in the White House(Yea I know there's a perfect, albeit false response to this), are personally reached out to to help win a war, or would be considered the 2nd most powerful organization in the U.S. behind the federal government. What the mafia did here in the states will never be matched.

Pretty much all of this is incorrect.

There here bro. New Orleans is full of them. MS13 had made its way into every major city in Louisiana in some sort of fashion. They just don't have to be out on the streets hustling with today's technology.

This x10000000.

They just dont impact normal people like elsewhere.

There was an "influence" of bloods and crops in Alexandria reaching back to the 80s...

But there were only passing contacts between cenla and the namesake progenitors.

bloods crips in Atown

Now the 3x M-Murder team gang has been pretty ruthless for the last decade in Atown, but most of them have been rolled up...check out their rap shwet

Our gangs>>>>their gangs

This is true. Even MS13 tried to move into Nola after Katrina, but were ran off by the locals. Nola hoodrats are hardcore as hell.

I think I saw that in the show gangland, in their Nola episode. But possibly somewhere else.

I've always heard that outside gangs never got a foothold in Nola because everyone is related somehow. Kill one guy and half the city will be looking for revenge just cause you're an outsider.
