How come every blue collar worker thinks their boss is an idiot?

Always was a theme back in that plant life. Sitting here at a hotel bar over hearing some oil baws. Seems like a consistent theme. I guess all engineers or anybody that’s been successful is an idiot.
Meanwhile the blue collar baws are tipsy by 6:00 while their idiot ‘bosses’ are still on their laptops working.

Most seem to think their bosses are "morons" because the boss hasn't done the job in a while and seems to forget what it is like. Maybe in some cases they've never done the labor and have no clue

It is not that they are successful, it is the stupid crap they come up with to fix a simple problem.
It is all the forms and paperwork they make you fill out that has no meaning or purpose.
It is also the fake at a boys and good job talk. It also the fake mood that they present when things don’t go their way because they are insecure.

In a lot of cases bosses are away from the day to day work such workers do and don’t face the same challenges… it’s no secret that bosses are respected more when they’re working side by side with their co-workers

I’m “white collar” and, technically, a boss. I have my fair share of idiot superiors though. I have had some great ones but they seem to get promoted then back filled with idiots.

Bosses get to be bosses by being competent at lower level jobs. They are then promoted above their competency level and many of them prove themselves to be, in fact, idiots.
