It wasn't this past Christmas, I think it was 2020 Christmas.. We are having dinner at my mom's. She has the over on and stuff on the stove cooking. She already keeps her house pretty warm. My brother looked at the thermostat. It was 81 in that bitch.
He put the AC on without telling her just so it wouldn't be so stuffy in there. A little while later she said "why is it getting so cold in here?" It had gone down to 78..

We lived in the South though. I'd be fine if it was 58 in the house if I lived in the PNW.

72-69 with the ac on and 68-64 with the heater on. Nowhere outside of this range is acceptable to me if we have power

I’m going to get my mom a straight jacket sweater if she touches the thermostat again - I keep it on 72, we were all sweating someone put it on 76
