While Louisiana has its problems I couldn't live anywhere else. Been to Socal, awesome weather and beaches. Culture and flat brim hat mofos annoy the shite out of me. Love to ski in CO, but I can only handle so much snow. DC absolutely sucks. Florida well is just Florida. Like parts of Texas, but I despise Houston like the Coronavirus.
The reason I like living here is most of my family lives here. Love the food and the culture. Love the weather and the fishing is some of the best in the country. Women down here are beautiful, but crazy. Have a good job. Big Saints and LSU fan. For those that don't like it, to each there own. No biggie. Won't change my mind though. Carry on.

Hunting in LA isn't great. There are pockets where it's good I believe but I don't hunt much anymore.
Offshore fishing in LA is probably 2nd only to the Florida Keys.

Yea, a case could be made for LA being a top 5 fishing state. As far as hunting, forget it. Too many dudes shooting dog-sized button bucks so they can take Facebook profile pictures. I’ve seen huge deer all over the Northeast. The deer are over hunted here because there’s too many people with nothing to do on their Saturdays. I outgrew deer hunting when I was about 15 years old.

Nothing compares to deer hunting in south Texas or duck hunting in Oklahoma/Kansas. California has some great goose hunting
