There is a fine line between success and failure. Alabama is, at least, a little better run than Louisiana and a little less (maybe more than a little less) corrupt. Maybe the explanation is as easy as that.

We had a Huey and an Edwin.

IDk what all mobile has for event space.

But New Orleans has the dome and smoothie king.

Plus a bunch of other places to hold concerts.

Baton Rouge has tiger stadium and the river center.

So did mobile have anything like these places?

Can't get on page to build one? The new one being built presently in Mobile only going to hold close to 11,000.

Are you aware New Orleans has not one but two arenas?

One of which holds 70,000 people and just hosted Taylor Swift and this game they call the SuperBowl.

Not sure mobile building an 11,000 seat stadium is that impressive.

Daphne and Fairhope are really nice places to live. A friend lives in the area , and he absolutely loves it. Golf courses, restaurants, and the beaches in GS/OB are close. The houses are cheap as well.

No, the Mobile Arena was just significantly older.

Mobile Civic Center - Opened July 9, 1964

Pete Maravich Assembly Center - Opened January 3, 1972

Smoothie King Center - Opened October 29, 1999

So we can only use it like 4 months out the year. The rest of the year we are burning up and getting eaten up my mosquitoes or freeze.

You do realize there are successful amphitheaters in the woodlands, Atlanta,Tampa, and I’m not sure they are successful, but Mississippi has 3.

How many venues does New Orleans need UNO, The Dome, The Smoothie King Center, The Saenger, and Mahalia Jackson Theater aren't enough?

Mobile has plenty of cultcha (it's 53% Black). However, the eastern shore (Baldwin County) does not (8% Black).

Compare that % to the other cities I mentioned.
