Better than going further into Destin. Console yourself with that.

The traffic isn't bad once you get past the OB exit. Now Destin traffic sucks, but from OB to exit 56 is probably the least amount of traffic one will see on that drive.

this is where you are fricking up. Need to depart around 9 at the latest. I'd leave and just go hang out somewhere if you get there before check in time.

pensacola + Memorial Day + Toddler Did you and your husband adopt? Either way, Pensacola Beach on Memorial Day weekend is no place for children.

We aren’t actually going to Pensacola. We are going to navarre beach, but most people don’t know where that is so i just put Pensacola. Navarre is about 30-40 mins from Pensacola.

We have 5 kids so we aren’t capable of leaving at 9 for anything. I’m saying we are leaving at 11 but it will probably be more like 1.

Lith was going to come pick me up in his Bonanza but that sounds like more fun. Have an extra seat?

Stay in the right lane as long as you can approaching the Mobile tunnel then merge left at the last second

Why would you leave at 1?

Either leave early am fri or leave br at 6pm fri.

1 is the worst possible choice, everyone starts leaving work around that time between br and pensacola, and you are exactly timing the tunnel for rush hour.

Last year we traveled to Pensacola on the Friday before 4th of July, leaving BR about 11 am. Traffic came to stop and slowed to a crawl several times during the trip. No accidents were seen, just randomly the traffic would stop / crawl. Added an extra hour and half to the trip. Around any holiday we leave at about 5 am. Problem solved.

We are regulars at Sam’s and Costco. The amount of toilet paper we go through is nuts.

That’s not too bad. I’ll mentally prepare myself for an extra hour and a half.

We have 5 kids
We are shooting for 10-11 but knowing us, it’ll probably be 12-1. We aren’t very timely when it’s all of us.
