Actually, in a 16 year career I can not thing of one person I arrested for marijuana that wasn't already being arrested or investigated on another incident.

I've charged quite a few people with weed but the marijuana was located only because they were being arrested / investigated on another incident. Search warrants ( non narcotic), responding to domestics / disturbances, stuff like that. Basically if I'm checking your pockets that close, I've already arrested you on something else. I may arrest 4-5 people a year that pick up a weed charge. Haven't found a bunch of weight but one guy had two gallon ziplocks full of some very quality buds. Don't remember the weight but again, this guy was also suspected of beating the crap out of two people at a party and also possessed a bunch of powder

shite I didn't even realize today was 4/20 and I just smoked my last bowl last night. Oh well, I guess I'm celebrating by being sober.

Final spread out over 2 weeks? WTF? When I was in school, finals were over the course of 5 days! Including a Saturday!

Strange but true story:

This time last year my SO and I went to Orlando on vacation. She had to go into one of the endless tourist trap shops.

While there she found a towel with a picture of a cannabis plant and the words "America's Most Wanted" on it. So she bought it for her daughter.

Only after we left and sat down to eat, did it occur to me that we bought the towel--on 4/20.

(We've kept the receipt)
