I’m buying gold from Rosland Capital. Why? Because I trust them.

I even like the feel of gold.

With UBI set at a reasonable level, this hasn't been proven true in some of the limited studies done thus far. And it can be structured as an either / or - either get the UBI free and clear or stay on welfare programs. It will need to stack with some welfare programs, but all of that stuff can be negotiated.

But the only way to get a good and beneficial iteration of UBI that is funded appropriately, is structured to reduce the costs of other welfare programs, is actually universal, etc. is to recognize the looming changes and come to the table to negotiate those facets.

If people just fight tooth and nail to try and stop it until one group can finally ram it through, we will likely end up with the worst possible version.

Communism does not work and there is no way this will either.

It’s is stealing from the productive and giving to the unproductive. It is not sustainable and lowers everyone’s standard of living.

Except for those in charge. There were never breadlines in the Kremlin.

If the goal of the globalists/one world order is the implementation of a global currency, they have to destroy the dollar. Maybe we are seeing the acceleration of that plan.

You mean Gingrich. Clinton was ready to spend.

Ok but someone asked about "in charge" implying the president.

The President was Clinton. And he's the only one in modern history--to be in office--over a balcned budget. Twice in a row.

I'm not a democrat and didn't vote Clinton either time. But I do appreciate that era as time of prosperity and better fiscal policy.

I love dipshits how downvote facts.

First, I don't think the dollar will collapse. It will decline in value as we keep stoking the quantitative easing flames to cover all of the bullshite spending that the Federal Government wants to do. It sure seems like these "Covid relief packages" mostly go to foreign governments or to various special interest instead of the people. So your assets will increase in relative value while the cash in your wallet will decrease in value. All of this sort of leads me to think that the people who stormed the capital were at least angry at the right people...but that's a conversation for another day.

Gold - We use APMEX for gold and other branded precious metals from the US, Canada, Switzerland, or Australia. There's a slight premium with APMEX but IMO it's worth it to ensure quality. Try to buy in varying sizes (ounces, grams, coins, bars, etc.). We don't store this at home, but if you want to store it at home and don't already have a robust safe, you'll want one after you collect a few ounces (either that or a safety deposit box), so that is an additional cost of holding this as an asset.

Domestic supplies like dry food, water, baby formula, diapers, toiletries, dog food, flour, sugar, medicine, bandages, propane, whiskey, etc. are usually kept in stock at my house. I set up a "wall of organization" in my basement to categorize and organize this in case we get a riot, blizzard, or another pandemic. All easy enough to get now and organize in your home. Walmart is usually the cheapest for this crap, including the containers to store it. Found a good deal on shelving from Lowe's. Amazon also has good sales on various dry goods and storage solutions occasionally.

Ammunition has probably increased in value even more than gold lately. I have a healthy supply of ammo that's compatible with the guns we sadly lost in a recent boating accident. You'll also want to store ammunition in a dry place. There's plenty of storage boxes that can satisfy that requirement. I have been having trouble finding ammunition anywhere. Anyone have any luck with any online retailer for ammunition lately? When will this supply shortage pass us?
