It’s funny how you got so angry at the Joe Rogan horse paste guys and then realizing you sounded stupid, now leaning into it.

I admire that.

Bow down to your government overlords, sheep.

Try to think for yourself, and use discernment.

Enjoy the day.

For the consumer it's great. Returns are too easy though, I can generate one and take it to the UPS store, and my money is returned before I get to the car.
I can totally believe people are defrauding the system, and Amazon apparently has no checks and balances. I had no idea it was as bad as it is for small business sellers on there.

AWS is where Amazon makes the cash, even if you don't know what it is the chances that you use it every day is 99.99%

A retailer is crazy to have generous return policies. Kohl's has generous return policies - so someone buys a tent, uses it on a camping trip, and returns it damaged. In most cases, it is their policy to accept it. And, if store management is not on the top of their game, the used item ends up back on the sales floor.

So, legit customers pay more because of the cost of shitty returns or end up buying something that is used.

The stores victimize their good customers with overly generous returns (and with tolerating shoplifting).

Amazon returns are stupid easy through Whole Foods, they truly don't give a shite

Kohls for the win. Walk in with item in original package, show them the QR code and that's it. Money refunded before you can get to the truck. I can see people taking advantage of it because it is incredibly convenient.

I have found HD and Lowes both getting less likely to take things back than they used to be. I returned some plumbing fittings over the weekend and they examined those things like they were doing a QC Receipt Inspection at a Nuclear plant....
