Honest question, what should be the baseline minimum flying attire IYO?
Just regular clothes. Pajama pants with gut and/or arse crack hanging out is a real thing. All my flights go thru ATL and I’ve seent em. It’s gross

It sounds to me like your real issue is with fat/ugly people.
If a young hot girl was wearing pajama pants would it still be such an issue?

This seems like a really overrated talking point. I never see widespread usage of jorts or pajamas when flying
It's common on the back of the plane during non-peak hours. And every Spirit flight.

look how skinny every one is

Because I'm spending a few hundred dollars on a flight, not taking a greyhound bus.
Like I said above, as long as you look presentable and clean, I don't care.
Basketball shorts and a T-shirt, sure, as long as it doesn't have stains or isn't 5 years old and faded/tattered.

No one in Delta's literature/photos today are over 5'9" or 165 lbs.

Correct. Monday AM/Thursday PM flights on Delta rarely have these type of folks aboard

Air travel is accessible to many more people today. That's a good thing IMO.
In your case, you should spend a few bucks more for economy comfort or first class. Most of the folks there are business travelers and are dressed the part.

It doesn't matter. But I'm still free to judge them for it
Also...looking a little more polished while traveling...people will treat you differently(including those that work for the airlines, hotels, etc). Could be to your advantage to make somewhat of an effort.

Yeah, but then Id be looked at as trashy
Id rather save the money.
I get that it is more accessible than ever, but if you can spend $500 for travel, you should be looking presentable.

They have Clear at Love Field, but don't you hate DAL?

This is 100% true. They know that their frequent fliers wear business attire, so they treat people who dress the part much better.

You’re right, but there really was a lot more skinny people back then to now. That’s hard to look past. And we did dress with a lot more pride too.

I agree. Be comfortable, but keep your shoes and pants on.

$500 would be the most expensive domestic flight you can buy in coach

I do! (Doesn't mean I won't fly out of it though
Edit: Flying home to MSY in a few weeks out of DFW
They may be nazi's but for some reason I just enjoy DFW. ESP Terminal A.

I flew on an L1011 as a kid too. That thing seemed massive.

I don’t care what it sounds like to you. People shouldnt dress like slobs in public places. That’s it.

Yea, and since the reason you hate DAL is the lines at check-in, this could be a game changer for you lol.
Dammit I used my new alter on accident and wasted my 1st post on you.
