Houston is not much better than New Orleans, for the New Orleans haters.
if I had to pick, I would pick Houston, but only because of an MLB stadium.
if New Orleans got an MLB team, I would pick the Northshore before ANYWHERE in Houston.
food, culture, nice people, less 30k millionaire douches, NO wins and its not even close

I've lived in Louisiana, Houston (Cypress area) and several areas of DFW.
I'll take North Texas over any of them, talking the McKinney, Allen, Plano, Murphy, Sachse, Wylie area.
People do have money because it's expensive to live here but it keeps the riff raff out.

Not liking a place because people think differently than you politically is one of the dumbest things possible.
