ABC13 played this story every 15 minutes at the 6AM news this morning. Between Sly, Lina, and the local news this became a way bigger deal than necessary, but not surprising.

I am not sure if there were multiple mask burning parties but I definitely remember bareback icehouse in Spring announcing a mask burning party shortly after Abbott made the big announcement. The post has since been removed and the one after says
“Now that we have everyone’s attention”.
Hidalgo and turner are fricking ridiculous. It’s gonna be so funny watching them during all of this. I can’t speak for all of Harris county but the north side is most certainly anti-mask and ready to party.

This is life from now on. I hate to say it but get used to it. Even if we all have the vaccine, have herd immunity etc that’s just the way it is.

Living in Austin, it really is amazing how much certain people want to see masks go on for as long as possible. Mask at this point are nothing more than a power trip and soy boy identified. Do you, but let me do me. IT’s F’ING OVER!!!!!
