Yeah he was. Clearly embarrassed and didn't want his face to be seen on TV. His electric Honda didn't stand a chance

I just attempted to leave The Woodlands. Was taking back ways to get to 249 . Every creek I crossed was close to coming over the bridge. When they said this would last all day, I turned around. Wasn't even sure I'd make it all the way in, and if this keeps up any longer, I don't want to be stuck.

Ole Steve just got himself a promotion. That will be on the national news.

That old man had no clue on what was happening. haha.

Man I wish Ruben from channel 2 would have been the guy to do that story.

When it first happened, I didn't know what happened. I thought he actually went out there to the car.

When they replayed it, I still think that old dude would have died had he not been there. He was in complete shock and didn't know what to do.

The goose is trapped, 7:15 to LGA delayed to noon, then cancelled. Got on the 8:20 to LGA, which is set for noon. I'm gonna ride it out here.

Did you make it downtown?

I work downtown as well and they sternly told us the exact opposite. That's fricking idiotic, pretty sure there isn't even a way to get downtown right now regardless of what direction you're coming from

Got to work at 7:00 just as they sent the email that we could work from home. Now I think I'm stuck here. I drive a Jeep Grnade Cherokee and was nervous when once or twice on the way in.

Have the parts of Texas that were in a drought gotten a lot of rain?

most of Texas was in a Severe Drought prior to May of 2015. Then it rained. Damn near every day in May, and there was hardly any spot in drought conditions.

Lake Travis in Austin was quite low; to the tune of 60 feet down. Last week it was back at full pool, roughly 7 years ahead of expectations on when it would happen again.

Houston and it's surrounding areas is particularly wet; I'd rather see this rain (with lesser totals)in Central/SW/and NW Texas where the farmers are.

they just came thru with common sense tho, just told him to work from home. guessing his manager wasn't up to date on the facilities updates and was still trying to make it in

I just woke up. Anyone got pics of White Oak Bayou?

Our workplace downtown is open, but they said only come in if it's safe. One of my guys thought it was safe coming up from Clear Lake and now he's stuck on the Pierce elevated because all of the exits are closed...what a shite show
