You should shower AFTER the bath, not before.
I take hot baths 4/5 times a week at night before bed. Sweat out the day, relax, etc. Usually have a glass of wine and possibly some weed in there. Dim the lights, light a candle.
It is incredible.
ETA:
I don't use it to get clean, I use it like a person uses a steam room or hot tub. To sweat and relax. Then I clean off after.

I take a bath every morning, I know at least one part of my day will be good. It’s basically a hot tub. To everyone saying “ ewe gross” sprinkling water on some body part ain’t getting it clean, sometimes things need to soak, like all the clothes you are wearing.

I don’t get why more people don’t enjoy a relaxing hot bath. I especially don’t get why guys seem insecure about taking baths. That shite is great. Jacuzzi tub FTW. My own little in home hot tub.

Had my house built 19 years ago . . . I’ve been in the bathtub one time and that was just because the wife had gone through the trouble of lighting candles to set the mood. Really just had the feel of sitting in water and feeling my body hair move with each little wave. The seat in my shower is so much more relaxing to me!
