No, the state changed vendors a couple years ago and the new stickers are known to be shitty and fall off after a month or so.

The bill would have required drivers to submit signed forms pledging their vehicles are safe.
The bill should also require the driver to be of sufficient intelligence to drive.

It makes sense Rep. Landry is for keeping inspection stickers. He is the former Superintendent of the State Police, which also happens to serve as the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Which means he oversees the Office of Motor Vehicles.

It doesn't. But keep stealing from the people $15 (or $10 or $25) at a time.

Yep, though they last longer than a month. Me and a coworker both got new vehicles in Feb 16 (so no old glue issue), and both of ours started peeling off within the past month.

Where's the best place in BR to get one if you have a cracked windshield and too dark of tint?

Asking for a friend.....

The equipment is extremely expensive to perform the inspections

Wait, they're supposed to use machines for the inspections?!?

You mean, it's not just a guy asking for title, insurance, your mileage, and whether you want a one year or two year tag?

Heck yes Ga. Is one, and Texas has a Bill that if passed would eliminate them calling them "Antiquated" since the mid 50's with newer cars and such.....

They may not make slot but they do not lose anything..... but it depends on what other biz they do there... a place in Denham does windshield repair and glass work. They also do inspections.... I assure you he makes money on doing inspections.... but hey I will gladly save my $20. I make sure my cars run the way they should for the safety of my family.....

How exactly does ticketing drivers with failed inspection stickers and then letting them drive away keep them off the road?

Things that make you go hmmmm.....

Entire states seem to manage to let their citizens get by without inspections.

- And magically, their roads are better than ours, their insurance rates for Auto is lower than our.

You'd think it would be pretty easy for Louisiana to show how much safer it is compared to data from all the states that don't require inspection stickers.

Odd how they won't show it to the public, though. Hmmmm....
