My wife tries to read the OT depending on the thread. It took like five years to get the lingo down. She’d often ask about OP, IRL, PIIHB, Germans, the quad, New Iberia, plant operator, etc

I didn’t think about until I watched the video, but do you speak or at least understand Mandarin or Cantonese?

We now have more good news than bad.
These numbers show a drop of confirmation rates (down to 1,600 per day from 1,800 per day the last time I did this). It also marks the turning point where Recoveries outpace Deaths. Finally, the mortality rate has dropped to 2.1%.
While it's still too early to be positive, if these numbers are accurate (and we all know "accuracy" can be a moving target when dealing with the Chinese government), it looks like we may have been able to catch this in time and may well be in the beginning stages of getting the outbreak under control.
