After reading this thread I don't know what to think.
I’ve got similar intervals.
To me, you get the longest life out of the vehicle and subsystems if the fluids are changed regularly.
If you DIY, the cost of materials is not too bad.
With that said, I’ve never been stranded by a car with a broken radiator hose, low fluid of any kind, a broken belt, etc.
Keep the car maintained and you increase your odds of fewer repairs and being left stranded.

I think people generally don't care about things like differential fluids, transmission fluid, etc., because most people don't keep modern cars long enough for those systems to fail, so they don't have a frame of reference as to whether it's actually needful or not.
Think about it, who is buying a new car these days and driving it for 300k? Typically, the person who bought it new either sells or trades it in and someone else gets it.
If you buy a used car with say 90k on it, even you probably aren't going to 250k with it, you probably also sell it or trade it in.
The third person gets it with high mileage, they have no clue what's been done to it and whether or not the transmission makes it an extra 20k miles due to impeccable maintenance, they'll never know.

If youre going to resell a high-dollar car, especially a German one, maintenance records are a huge plus.
Even a dealer trade-in is more valuable with excellent records as they can truthfully represent it as well-maintained.
For your typical Altima, Accord, or Camry, no one GAS.

Dealer told me the other day I needed new spark plugs at 60k miles on a 2022 vehicle.
I asked Huy at Check Engine, Prairieville (he sold the business) when I should change the sparkplugs on my wife's 100,000 mile Acura.
He asked, "Is it running rough?"
"Nope", I answered.
"Change them when it does."l
I miss dealing with that guy.
