...as a dentist, there is a new anesthetic that numbs upper teeth WITHOUT the need for a needle and shot...it is a nasal spray. Seriously. Very effective, but very expensive for us to buy. Question is, how much additional would you be willing to pay for dental treatment on upper front teeth with this new product, called Kovanaze...and not having any shot at all???

Having a serious needle phobia, I would pay extra and NGAF.

I doubt people would pay that much extra for it.

I don't get cavities but chipped a tooth recently so I might be willing to use that stuff. That being said would insurance cover something like this product. Some dental policies do not cover anything but shot, right?

I would assume this would be pretty helpful for a pediatric dentist. Although most kids aren't keen on nasal sprays either...

I like to rub Kovanaze on my butt, especially in the hole.

one time my dentist barely caught my tongue with the needle. that was a rough day. my tongue was numb for hours. but in his defense I have a ridiculously big tongue.

I'd think most doctors and dentist would go this route..
