I picked a Shaw product. It cost more, but was better quality.
Some of the cheaper products at Depot were warped. Just bad manufacturing.

I believe there is a difference in the two types of tile...
One is colored all the way through ifni understand right... So if it gets chipped then you won't notice as much as the color is all the way through. I don't know which one it is though... Maybe the porcelain?
I live the stuff. Wish I woukd have seen it when I did the laminate I have down now.

There is. Porcelain is what you want. I haven't seen any "wood look" tile that isn't, however. Ceramic tiles sometimes have the terra Cota colored material under a colored glaze.

Not all porcelain has the "thru body color".

Just put it in most of my house.
We love it. With 2 big dogs it's more durable and works out much better as a result.

we have some in the office where I work and I have also seen it at a fishing camp...looks great and is durable as hell. works great in both applications.
