We are here to evolve our consciousness. I don't believe in the bullshite Christian religion take on death and the afterlife. People sign up for the life that they live. It is all about experience and spiritual development. While tragic, in the large scheme of things this couple is no more important than any other human dying on this planet on the same day. That is just reality regardless of your beliefs.

That really doesn't answer what I was asking. Would you be so casual if a young person, or even your child, was murdered in such a heinous way?

I don't have a problem with your atheism. But your "eh" about this story and overall nonchalant vibe about tragedies such as this are kind of off-putting.

I can't really say. More personal opinion than anything.

I ascribe more value to the lives of people I know. People I believe are having a positive impact on humanity's survival are worth more to me.

Generally, it depends. There is no cut and dry system.

And what makes my views more legitimate than yours?

For starters, they are my views. Of course I'll lend my own stances more weight than yours. You've also failed to convince me that your stance is the correct one.

That all aside, guess what?

Neither of our opinions matter. We are posting on an online message board.

I would guess that you don't even believe what you're writing.

I agree with you. But..
Can we get admins to whack all this irrelevant shite, including my own derails regarding the DA yesterday? Let's keep this going and productive.

How about you actually make a statement why you think every life is equal, rather than just saying no, you're wrong.

Agreed. I was in part to blame for the hijacking.

Apologies, I just couldn't believe someone thought this guy's life was equal to anyone else's.

Admins, please whack.

Someone called in a tip that the perp had killed others and buried them on the property. Police found some bones this afternoon but as of now they are thought to be animal bones.

Yeah, I saw that but they didn't find anything and I never heard anything specific about 3 bodies. Didn't know if you had some inside info or something.

Why would he kill people in Mexico? I thought he's Cuban?

Well, he killed someone in the U.S. And he's Cuban so maybe he lived in Mexico before that.
