How dare she assume the gender of the person opening the door!

Post her name and location so we can close the door on her next time

I feel sorry for women like this. They will never know any joy in their lives because they are too busy being self-absorbed.
My first wife was like this and she is still a miserable person. Me, on the other hand, I'm happy as a lark.

I open doors for women to show ownership. Don't want to overtax my property

I don't know about you gentlemen but I was taught from a very young age to hold open doors for women (or the elderly or just people in general) from one person: my mother.
If her and I were going somewhere and she reached the door first she would actually wait on me to come open the door. The lesson had nothing to do with sexism or a show of dominance. It was a lesson in respect and common courtesy.

How difficult is it to just say thank you when another human displays a simple act of consideration towards a stranger instead of purposely finding a way to be offended by it?
But....the bitch has smurf blue hair....rational thought left that one long ago.

Just the other day I was leaving a place as a girl was walking up to go in. I reached the door first and went to hold the door for her like I always would, and she said thank you right as she was going in and right as I was going to acknowledge her thanks the door slipped from my grip and started swinging closed.
All I could get out was "ooh ooh ooh watch o.." BAM! The door hit her and tripped her up and made her fall.
Embarrassing for everyone.

Take down the door entering your kitchen and boom, problem solved. Life is simple if you just stop and think.

About 25 years ago I worked with a woman in equal job titles in Chicago. Of course, as a southerner I held doors open for her to walk through first. One day she said "I can hold my own door " So I let it go and it hit her square in the face. Still laugh about it when I think of it
