There's been past threads where someone pointed out something he did wrong and you rush in to tell them how bad they are wrong, and just the opposite of Lee. It's not a big deal
it's a sports message board, none of our opinions matter. I'm just saying, MOST historians, writers, disagree with your view on how great of a commander Lee was. I don't think Grant was a butcher and I have a lot of respect for his battlefield tactics. There is a lot of evidence he liked the bottle, but more than likely that was all during civilian life, I like the bottle also

Probably because I thought their opinion was incorrect. I don't chime in when I agree with them.
