because of guilt, white people have basically given the black community the designation of "keepers of the cool". Black people say random stupid shite, and white kids eat it up, cause it must be cool.

Look...some rap is great. But most is shite. Rap hasnt replaced rock, it replaced pop.

Honestly, country replaced rock. And nothing replaced country. Now we just dont have country (unless you listen to underground shite).

Yeah...rock is dead.

Most blacks don't like big arena concerts -- they prefer clubs/discos

And if you think this is a new, racist observation -- James Brown noticed this phenomenon starting in the '60s

Yeah, they've created a culture where being a criminal is considered cool and anyone who deviates from that is a Tom or "acting white." By the time any of them finally snap out of it, they have criminal records and shitty academic performance histories.

But it's clearly all whitey's fault.

this is incorrect

all those frat boys and suburban teenagers and shitkicker wannabes who would have been listening to the Stones in the '70s are listening to rap now

So they're not into the live music as much as the rock or pop fans because people that are really into it will go to whatever venue their favorite acts are playing at no matter how much they like or dislike the place they're playing at.

I just imagine when this generation gets older are they still gonna listen to rap?

I grew up listening to classic rock, funk and disco, motown, etc, because my parents listened to it. It still stands the test of time too.

Is this generation going to be 60 years old bumping Jay Z and Kanye at family get togethers?

And the world is worse off for it.

Rap isn't music.
Rap is garbage.

Oh I'm sorry I don't mean disco I mean "dance music"

that is, the same disco shite as 40 years ago which some marketing genius decided to rebrand as "dance music"

in "clubs"

to repeat, "dance music" in "clubs"

NOT disco in discos

that's what people wondered about the flower power generation 50 years ago

judging from that recent big shindig in Cali, they're still listening...

Hip hop has been devastating to the African American community, yet they celebrate it like a badge of honor.

It has molded a lot of young kids into thinking that drug dealing, going to prison, murder, having 3 or 4 baby mamas should be celebrated rather than discouraged.

Eminem is good. He's probably one of of the best poets of the 21st Century.
