I read a scientific review of these " speciality salts" the other day.
The best of them had a very very small amount of increased mineral content over table salt. In no case was it over a percent or two. You are better off taking a daily vitamin.
Himalayan Salt was almost identical in mineral content to table salt.

Anyone who buys a product with "Himalayan" in the name is a sucker. For the same reason that people who bought crystals for mystical reasons were suckers. My uncle bought some stupid Himalayan berry juice for crazy prices. His cancer still killed him. I don't blame him, it was his money to waste. But people who sell "Himalayan" crap deserve the same fate.
