We all know the outcome. I really hate it for the Sr class of 2020. There is a real threat to have most of their Sr year being done remotely. This means a real chance at a canceled graduation and not being able to participate in the sports they worked so hard to prepare for most of the year.

All because of Hysterics.

We're shutting down all school sporting events (likely), but we're still having school. Makes zero sense. Like there's no interpersonal contact in a school setting with sometimes over 1000 students.

Yep, cancelling all hs sports is inevitable. Once the basketball championships are over thats it. With that said unless they plan to cancel classes it makes absolutely no sense. You have a baseball game that typically has around 100 people with fans and players yet they go to school in a crowded classroom with anywhere from 400-1000 kids in the school.

I hope they don't cancel high school baseball. With no other sports to watch I am going to lose my shite if I can't watch my son play baseball in his Junior year of high school.

I think it would be prudent for you to prepare to lose your shite.

Does he not play summer ball? I would hope that if they cancel school ball the summer league/teams will just get started early.

I agree. Watching our hs boys get a win last night and walking off the field happy then 10 minutes later they get told by the coaches theres a good chance Saturday would be their last game. Pretty disheartening.

We got notification from Little League director that they request no summer ball practice start until at least 4/6 at this time.

Yes he plays summer ball. But he is finally the starting Catcher for his High School team. Hate to see him lose his junior year.
