This doesn't even make sense
My point is that people (most of the time) believe what they do because of what they have been taught since birth, not because of what they have sought out individually. A quick look at a map of religious demographics easily proves this. However, no one really wants to admit that the only reason they're a Christian is because they were born and raised in the Bible Belt, even though that's obviously the case with the vast majority of people. BUT, when you say it's okay for the public sector of society to favor one religion over others, you're basically admitting that, yeah, religion is a cultural phenomenon.
Understand?

A backstory?
Or please, for the love of all that is good and kind, a YouTube link?

There is a link in the OP.

Reminds me of Doug Stanhope’s bit about someone arriving from another planet going into a book store and picking up a Bible. How likely is he to say, “This all makes perfect sense. I believe everything in this book.”

I was replying to the hilarious gif he posted.

Doesn't compute.
Atheists are the worst. At least say you're agnostic and admit that. For you and your fellow sociopaths to think in Ptolemaic terms is selfish and more close-minded than any Assembly of God snake charmer. There is an infinite universe out there.

I wouldn’t call myself religious although I’m certainly a believer.
And there’s a lot more people on the internet advertising and defending their atheism than that re Christians. Most likely because atheists are unsure of their non-belief and need the affirmation from others or feel the need to make fun of Christians to justify their own beliefs.

I have zero issues with this as long as I can hold my tree worshipping classes in the endzone.
